Mistfall Hunter Builds, Classes & Guides

Mistfall Hunter is Bellring Games' dark-fantasy PvPvE extraction ARPG: loot the Gyldenmist ruins, fight Corroded monsters and rival hunters, then extract alive — or lose everything you carried.

Launched Jul 29, 2026 6 Classes Solo & 3-Player Squads PC · PS5 · Xbox · Crossplay $24.99 Standard

What is Mistfall Hunter?

Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction action RPG from developer Bellring Games and publisher Skystone Games. You play a Gyldhunter descending into ruins poisoned by the Gyldenmist — a golden fog born from the blood of fallen gods — fighting corrupted beasts and rival players for Gyldenblood and gear.

Every run is a gamble: defeat a Returner Woodling, claim its Soul of Return, and extract to bank your haul. Die before extracting, and everything you carried drops for someone else to take. There is no pay-to-win — all purchases are cosmetic, a point the developers state explicitly.

Mistfall Hunter FAQ

Is Mistfall Hunter free to play?

No. It's a premium title: $24.99 Standard, $39.99 Deluxe. It is included day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, which is the cheapest way to try it.

Can you play Mistfall Hunter solo?

Yes. You can queue solo or in squads of up to three. Solo is still PvPvE — other players share your map — so self-sufficient classes like Blackarrow and Shadowstrix are popular solo picks.

What is the max level in Mistfall Hunter?

The character level cap is 12 for every class. Progression past the cap comes from gear, Path of Glory ranks (unlocked at level 6) and camp upgrades, not experience.

Does Mistfall Hunter have crossplay?

Yes — PC, PS5 and Xbox share matchmaking and can party up. Cross-progression is not supported at launch, so pick your main platform carefully.
